Tigres Beat Indios in Play-off
The Avilanian Tigres staged the triumphal return to their headquarters Jose Ramon Cepero Stadium, after defeating Guantanamo squad 7-2 for the second time in a row in the playoffs of the 49th National Baseball Series.
Right hander pitcher Maikel Folch worked in front of over 8000 followers nine innings allowing 6hits and runs to take Tigres to their second victory in play-offs at Jose Ramon Cepero Stadium.

The only effective response of manager Augustine Lescaille’s hosts emerged in the ninth inning, when the second baseman Yoilan Cerce hit the ball and batted two men in.

In the other game, held the same day, of the Eastern League, Villa Clara defeated Santiago de Cuba 12-1.
